STA Achieves Highest Rating in SET ESG Ratings with AAA Level for Two Consecutive Years, Reinforcing Commitment to Sustainability and Business Excellence

Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA) has been selected as a sustainable stock in the SET ESG Ratings 2024, achieving the highest “AAA” rating for the second consecutive year. This recognition underscores the company’s commitment to upholding high standards and operating a fully integrated rubber business aligned with ESG principles. STA continues to advance its sustainable business practices in accordance with international standards while fostering improvements in the quality of life for communities and society at large.

Mr. Veerasith Sinchareonkul, CEO and Executive Director of Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA), the world’s largest fully integrated natural rubber business and Thailand’s leading rubber glove manufacturer, announced that the company has successfully achieved the “AAA” rating in the SET ESG Ratings 2024 for the Agro & Food Industry category. This recognition, awarded by the Stock Exchange of Thailand, marks the second consecutive years STA has attained the highest rating and the 10th years the company has been recognized as Thailand Sustainability Investment (THSI).

Achieving the AAA rating in the SET ESG Ratings underscores STA’s unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards and driving sustainable business operations across all dimensions. In 2024, the company advanced our sustainable practices under  Corporate Sustainability Policy, which aligns with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.

Environment Dimension: STA implemented comprehensive environmental and energy management strategies, prioritizing eco-friendly systems and maximizing resource efficiency. The company adopted circular economy principles by repurposing waste and unused materials and increased its use of renewable energy. By leveraging low-carbon technologies, STA is actively working towards its goals of carbon neutrality and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.

Social Dimension: STA respects, protects, and upholds human rights and non-discrimination principles, adhering to the commitments outlined in eight International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions.
