Sri Trang Group Does Not Support or Purchase Illegal Rubber
As a leader in the Thai rubber industry, Sri Trang Group has always prioritized and committed to opposing the purchase of illegal rubber. We are aware of the smuggling of rubber from border areas, which can lead to potential outbreaks of diseases in rubber plantations, a decrease in domestic rubber prices, an oversupply of rubber in the market, and the entry of contaminated, low-quality rubber into the domestic market. These issues have a widespread negative impact on rubber farmers. Allowing illegal rubber to enter would severely damage the reputation of Thai rubber, which is highly trusted both domestically and globally.
Furthermore, to comply with the EU Deforestation-free Regulations (EUDR) of the European Union, which require that products exported to or imported into Europe must be 100% traceable to their source, we are reinforcing our stringent source verification processes. This strengthens Sri Trang Group's commitment to conducting business with transparency, fairness, and accountability, while also ensuring sustainable environmental and social practices.
