Sri Trang Group installs EV Chargers in factories nationwide to support employees' use of clean energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reinforcing its position as the “Green Rubber Company”
Continuing with our Sustainability policy, Sri Trang Agro-Industry Public Company Limited (STA) and Sri Trang Gloves (Thailand) Public Company Limited (STGT) have taken further steps under the leadership of Mr. Veerasith Sincharoenkul, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director. The team has completed the installation of electric vehicle (EV) chargers at the Hat Yai factory in Songkhla Province, which are now available for employees to use for free. This initiative aims to promote convenience and encourage staff to use clean energy. Additionally, the company has transitioned to using electric vehicles within the factory to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and pollution, thereby addressing climate change. The plan includes expanding EV charger installations to all Sri Trang Group factories in the future and incorporating environmentally friendly technologies within the organization.
Moreover, the company is committed to becoming a “Carbon Neutral Company” by 2030 and achieving Net Zero by 2050 through various sustainability policies that promote the use of clean energy. These include installing Solar Cell systems and utilizing 100% Biomass energy in the production processes at factories nationwide. These efforts aim to reduce greenhouse gas and carbon dioxide emissions, benefiting the community, society, environment, and all stakeholders, further reinforcing their identity as the “Green Rubber Company”.
