The first "Quality Cup Lump for the Environment" workshop, in partnership with the Office of the Rubber Replanting Aid Fund (ORRAF) At the Na Yoong procurement center, Tumbon Bann Kong, Na Yoong district , the province of Udon Thani.

The workshop was conducted by speakers from ORRAF and the CSR staff of Sri Trang Group. 45 rubber farmers in Na Yoong and its vicinity were trained in how to make quality cup lump by using formic acid, which has been approved by the Rubber Research Institute. The workshop explained the effects of sulfuric acid and formic acid on the health of rubber farmers and the environment. The rubber farmers also had the opportunity to practice and were shown that the costs between using formic acid and sulfuric acid in the coagulation process are comparable.

During the workshop the District Farmer, the President of Na Yoong Rubber Group and the raw material procurement staff of Sri Trang Group in Udon Thani also greeted and engaged in conversation with the rubber farmers.

In addition, Sri Trang Group also provided knowledge about the negative effects of cup lump that used sulfuric acid on the manufacturing of automotive tires, to encourage rubber farmers to use formic acid in the coagulation process for the safety of rubber farmers and the environment.
